chocolate granola

Servings 2 baking sheets


  • 3 cups gluten free oats
  • 1 cup buckwheat
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1 handful dried apricots


the day before

  1. the day before making the granola, put the dried apricots in a glass and fill it up with water until they are all covered

the actual day

  1. crash the almonds and cashews into small pieces

  2. combine oats, buckwheats, crashed nuts, cinnamon, peanut butter and maple syrup in a bowl

  3. add the water of the soaking apricots to the bowl of ingredients

  4. in a food processor, blend the soaked apricots into a smooth paste, then also add them to the bowl

  5. combine everything well to a sticky paste

  6. preheat oven to 150°C

  7. spread the granola mix on 2 baking sheets and bake for 15 minutes or until gold brown at 150°C
