homemade gluten-free tacos


  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • olive oil


  1. combine flour, water, salt, chilli flakes and turmeric in a mixing bowl and stir until well combined

  2. sprinkle some olive oil on a napkin. rub napkin through a pan, so there is a very thin coat of olive oil in the pan

  3. heat up pan covered with a lid

  4. once the pan is hot, pour 2 scoops of the liquid with a soup ladle into the pan. it should make noises and form holes - this way you know the pan is hot enough. keep pouring until it forms a circle that barely coveres the pan - it's supposed to be very thin

  5. immediately cover with let

  6. let it bake on each side until gold brown
