Lunch is over, dinner time is not here yet – it’s definitely snack-time.
Here are my favorite fast, easy and delicious snack ideas:
1. peanut butter bread with banana
So easy, so simple but sooooo good! Choose your favorite kind of bread (if you’re on a gluten free diet, pick up your favorite gluten free bread or a rice cracker), coat it with some homemade peanut butter, some banana slices, coconut flakes and a few drops of maple syrup. Tastebuds-explosion guaranteed!
Fruits don’t have to be boring. Pick your favorite fruits, put them on your favorite plate and cut them in your favorite way. Maybe you want to add one piece of chocolate – just because why not? 😉
3. homemade granola with your choice of plant based milk
Choose one of the homeade granolas, add some nuts, cinnamon, a little bit of coconut sugar (for the ones who have a extra sweet tooth) and finish it with one of your favorite plant based milks.
- almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, rice milk, hazelnut milk, soy milk, hemp milk, …. or a combination
4. dried fruits & nuts
Choose your favorite dried fruit and nut, then make a sandwich: nut – dry fruit – nut, or dry fruit – nut – dry fruit.
Examples for dried fruits are:
- raisins, cranberries, goji berries, dates
Examples for nuts are:
- peanuts, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts
5. banana with peanut butter
This is my all time favorite snack! Banana with peanut butter, or should I rather say: peanut butter with banana 😉 Homemade it’s still and always the best – especially when it’s still warm from all the pulsing.. ahhh.. yum..
6. avocado toast
choose any gluten-free or whole wheat bread, topp it with homemade guacamole and sprinkle some seeds on top. ready to go
