If I say Paris, you probably have one or two sights in your mind – Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe…
In todays post I’ll share some of the most amazing spots in Paris – you can visit for free – to enjoy the most iconic views of those famous sights.
Sacré Coeur is a church located on top of a hill. Right in front of the church you’ll have an incredible view over the whole city!
Pont Alexandre III
The bridge itself is worth a visit with all its golden statues and gracefully decorated details. As this was not enough, you’ll view the Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Well, everyone knows this famous metallic tower. It is impressive no matter where you view it. Here a few spots:
- Get out at Trocadéro Station, and you’ll view it from a little above.
- Walk down the stairs right across the Eiffel Tower, so it’ll be in the background.
- The Eiffel Tower is located right by the river Seine. It is beautiful to walk on its shore.
- From almost underneath – there is some kind of fairy with a carousel.
Top roof of Galerie Lafayette
For some reason, this spot is not very popular. So I call it my secret tip 🙂 Galarie Lafayette is a shopping mall (which is also worth a visit just because of how it looks from inside), with a roof top at the 7th floor. From there you’ll have a fantastic overview over whole Paris.
